What if it rains?  - We can always change the day and/or time to another available spot in the calendar in order to find better weather conditions. Also a light rain won't disturb the shoot. In fact the pictures may be even more interesting, vivid and romantic.

What if we need a make-up artist, hair stylist, bouquet, videographer, car/scooter rental etc? - No problem, I'll give you all the contacts for the best professionals in the city.

I would like to arrange a secret proposal, could you help? - Sure, I can catch this special moment for you secretly and also bring a bouquet or assist with decoration & organization.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel? - We can easily reschedule the shoot for any other available day & time in my calendar. Сancellation more than one month in advance of the day = full refund. 2 weeks before = 50% refund. Unfortunately, due to the average scheduling time scale, any prepayment cannot be refunded if you need to cancel less than 2 weeks in advance.

What equipment do you use? - I use a Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera, Canon lenses 24-70mm, 70-200mm, Sigma Art 50mm, flash and other accessories.

For how long have you worked as a photographer? - 8 years and counting.

Can we do a photo shoot outside Rome? - Sure, I'm open to shoot at any location in Italy and worldwide. Of course my travel expenses must be covered as a separate cost. And because shoots outside Rome generally take more time to prepare and travel, I must set the minimum duration of the shoot from 3-5 hours (depending on the distance from Rome).

What is the best time of day for a photo shoot in Rome? - Definitely early morning; the best soft sunlight and no crowds. Another great option is sunset, but it can be more complicated and isn't suitable for all locations.

What locations do you recommend in Rome? - There are so many amazing places in the Eternal City! Here are some of Rome's magnificent attractions: Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, Campidoglio, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Trastevere, Vatican, Sant'Angelo Castle, Roman Forum, Villa Borghese, the list goes on... 

How is the weather & temperature in Rome? - Summer is always sunny and hot (30+ degrees Celsius), spring & autumn are warm (17-25 degrees Celsius) with the occassional possibility of rain, winter is mild in temperature (10-15 degrees Celsius) but it can be more humid and rainy.

What do you advise me to wear? - Whatever you like; the main thing is comfort. Many of the nicest locations are on or surrounded by cobbled streets, so it may be practical to bring (an extra pair) of comfortable shoes if you plan to shoot in high heels.

When will our photos be ready? - As for short shoots of 1-3 hours, photos are usually ready within 1-4 weeks (depending on the season), full-day wedding shoots are ready in 1-3 months (again depending on workload). However, if you would like to order urgent photos delivery, it is usually possible: your photos can be ready in 3 days, with an additional payment of 50% of the shooting cost. These times are, of course, contingent on the number of hours in the shoot and the number of expected photos.

In what languages can we communicate? - English, Italian, Russian, German.

Do you edit photos? Can we get original unedited photos? - I do basic editing in Lightroom of all good photos (like you may see on my website) and I'll give you all of those. On special request, I can give the originals if you want to process them yourself, but these files are very large (50 MB each) and require special programs to open them. If you would like me to do photo retouching (correction of skin, facial features, clothes, body shape, hair), then such work is done on a per-photo basis, as this can be a time-consuming process.

How will we recieve the photos? - The first and most common option is for me to send you a wetransfer link where you can download them in maximum quality. If, for some reason, this can't be done, we can discuss in advance of the shoot the best way to get the pictures to you.

How to book your photo shoot in Rome? - Just write to me on social media, email, or here on the website and we can discuss what you'd like to do. Once we've settled on a day and time etc., I require a 20% prepayment to officially book that spot in my calendar and then we're ready!
